I used the Oaks Events for my wedding and it was better than I could have ever imagined! Conveniently located outside of Charlotte, beautiful sprawling landscape over looking a pond, and met my criteria of: Not A Barn!!! Michele and her staff are laid back and ready to help. The all inclusive option along with the option to rent the large house on site both the night before and the night of the wedding was an INCREDIBLE value and cut down on so much stress that I would have had using venues that did not include decor, chairs... read more
Absolutely beautiful location. Friendly staff & plenty of room for guests. We had bridal party stay night before wedding. Girls stayed upstairs, and boys stayed downstairs. My only complaint is not having a bathroom downstairs for guys, but we judt kept brid in bridal suite, and it was not even an issue. Beautiful location to do a photo shoot, wedding, birthday, or anniversary celebration, etc.
The Oaks Events provided me with my dream wedding venue. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly, the amenities were very helpful and the communication with Michele prior to the wedding helped us plant details so much smoother. We were able to stay at the venue overnight Friday and Saturday which was so helpful since we had a handful of out of town bridal party members.
