My elderly mother was transferred here today following back surgery. The facility chose to fill her prescription for pain medication from their pharmacy in Valdosta, Georgia, which took over 10 hours. She was sobbing in pain and spiked a fever, but the administrator refused to open the black box and the attending physician refused to prescribe her a single pill. Unresponsive and inattentive. Looks wonderful but provides negligent care. Very poorly managed. Unit phones don't answer, call lights for nurses stay on 45 minutes with no response. Rehab seems to be ok but long term care is not.

Its a really clean looking place but don't let that fool you. My Mom went there in 2016. I spent some time with her on Sat. everything went well. Remember my Mom went there for Rehab she is 82 years old. Monday I go in there Mom and her sister where in the hall she had been sitting there for and hour waiting on a shower in poop. They didn't get her and change her cloths. So yesterday I get a call my Mom was going back to the hospital. It took them 10 minutes to wash the cream off her to cath her. They do not care for the patients. Or bathed good norclean their behinds good and that causes skin to peel off. Our mother has pressure sores on her toes because they hardly ever get her up for circulation in her extremities . Don't feed patients at every meal that cannot feed themselves. Walked in on our mother that has severe dementia and that cannot walk feeding herself with her hands. This facility is far outdated in that there is no bathroom in the patient room, most rooms accommodate two patients. There is no Television, no telephone or radio in the room. The staff states that it is the patients family responsibility to provide the aforementioned items. This convalescent home is deplorable Animal hospitals are better equipped than this place.

The care my father received here was fine, but we had a problem with the billing. My father was there only 3 days in December but in January we received a bill for over $6000 which was the monthly rate. I called and was told we only owed $52 and would receive a new bill. In February we received a letter that said we still owed over $6000 and if we didn't pay soon collection procedures would be started.
