Walked in and was warmly greeted. Went through the usual multiple pages about my health. As soon as I turned the paperwork in, I was taken to an examining room and seen by a very friendly and obviously competent nurse who confirmed the infection and the reason for it. The idiot who did the hand surgery to remove a cancer growth sewed it up using a continuous stitch instead of multiple stitches as you would expect on the very thin skin on the back of the back of a hand. Went in to address finger infection. Got seen right away. Everyone was well qualified, knowledgeable and very helpful. They can dispense some prescriptions right there. They don't take insurance but rates are posted and quite reasonable. Didn't have to pay additional when I went back a few times to monitor progress. Highly recommend!
I needed Urgent Care services while staying on Big Pine Key. The staff was very helpful, professional and efficient. Hopefully we will never need Urgent Care services again, but if we do, I know our health care needs will be addressed by the caring, attentive staff.
