Sean, who checked me in, was very nice. The hotel is under some remodeling, but they still have everything set up very nice, the room is fabulous! Larger sitting room with a soda bed, bathroom had a big shower (no bathtub, oh well). Bed was clean comfy. Temp control in the bedroom is a plus.

I plan a gala for the Foundation I work at. We have hosted the fundraiser at the Northland the past two years in their largest ballroom. We are happy with the very attentive staff, their kindness to all of our requests, and their willness to do what is needed to make our event a fantastic success. We have nearly 600 guests and we will be back next year! Their remodel is exciting and fantastic for those of us hosting events in the community and any guests staying the night. The new suites are sooo comfortable.

Got the Escape package for $78 night. Good rate, however their suite rooms, even though they are the nicest suites in the property, they still need serious help. Rooms smell, old tube tv's, brown stained wallpaper in the bathrooms, overall felt very dirty. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They are currently going through a large renovation and will soon be a Marriott property and it couldn't come sooner!

I stayed in a suite and the hotel needs an update. The service is good, and you get a free drink and breakfast each day if you get the suite deal. However, the rooms are poorly decorated, and the furnishings look and feel old, cheap and uncomfortable. The Jacuzzi tub, bath salts and bed were nice, but the TV's are old CRT deals with terrible picture. It also isn't near anything. I feel like this was the cream of the crop in the 90's and they never re-invested.
