If anyone needs any work doing... I would highly recommend Adam at The Northern Workshop. We saw his post before Christmas on turning wasted space in to usable storage and he's done exactly the same in our house, in not one, but two spaces! We're not quite finished in painting, but we're over the moon woth how both spaces have turned out! If you need some space converting, he comes with ideas and tweaks until you are happy!
