As with so many newspapers, the News-Press disappoints me with their local news coverage and the quality of their stories. I'm often left with questions after reading an article. Probably due to short staff. On the other hand, they do try and their coverage of entertainment is good. Oh and the paper arrived at 8am too late to read with my breakfast. One important note: watch your bill. They constantly overbill me. I canceled print and they kept billing me and they may increase your bill without telling you. This has happed ... read more
The newspaper is decent IF a you can get your subscription actually delivered. We subscribe and it has been FOUR days since we received a paper. When they were called the answer was “we are working on it”. Due to the continuous price increases, and the lack of delivery, it feels like they do NOT want to even print a hard copy. We are very unhappy, but there is no other local option.
Terrible Delivery Service Also Terrible Response to Complaints of Non Delivery Don’t Bother To Subscribe As They Could Care Less About Delivering Your Paper
