Dr Wegman works hard on ensuring all patients are treated with respect and the utmost care. I have seen him work with his staff to try and help them see it from the patient POV in explaining process, understanding pain, anxiety and respect for the patient going through the process. A lot of his staff have been with him for a very long time. YES - I had to wait a while in his rooms to see him, but I think that is a given with all specialists. He used to be my dr when I lived in Sydney 25 years ago. . I’ve had a recent problem and I made a point of going to see him in Sydney from Melbourne’s to consult with him. That I think says it all! Re a review a saw about waiting. Theres an old joke but so true. 3 woman were arguing about how good there dr was. One said mine is soo good it takes 2 weeks to book an appointment and one hour of waiting. The other said that’s nothing my dr takes 3 months to see and can wait all day . Having a morbid fear of anaesthesia Dr Wegman and Dr Connolly got me through my procedure and changed my perspective about what day surgery procedures are now like. I thank them for their patience and care. Nursing staff and facilities are perfect. I hope nurse Cathy’s hand has recovered.
My cousin went to this doctor and she was very unprofessional and customer care was pathetic. She did not read the file and she was also rude and not care about her pain. I would definitely not recommend her to anyone as she is only business minded
