As a former employee and supporter of Northlake and The Ness Center’s endeavors, I know the community is receiving the most optimum attention and level of care for any behavioral health needs. I recommend their programs and staff to all individuals seeking assistance.
Terrible! I shouldn't have to pay good money to be served vegetables from a can. Everything tasted either microwaved or straight from a can. I asked for my steak medium-rare, but it was still cold. I wish I could put a sign out front that said "RUN AWAY!"
They told me I would have an in person visit for my child then hours before appointment sent me consent for virtual. He spoke on the phone with I’m assuming a counselor then we never heard back from them. This is very unprofessional and I don’t want my child having to get used to person after person with no consistency to feel comfortable and open up. Found a WAY BETTER place, oceans in Hammond. So if your on Medicaid (I’m assuming this is why I was treated this way) go elsewhere for the sake of you and your child!
I have been an employee for The Ness Center since July of 2021. I work at The Ness Center because it is rewarding to see and hear clients express gratitude and appreciation regarding the detox and mental health programs offered as well as the crisis services available to them when ever needed as they work the program and prepare for graduation.
