Took my old car to Neighbor's Kid for the first time. I don't think they were more expensive than other places and the cheerful, friendly people with whom I interacted were a great change from "bigger" shops. That means a lot to me. All repairs were completed and car has been running well (it's OLD) since! Thanks!
Availability for an emergency is what I remember with auto shops growing up in Sonoma County. It's nearly impossible now. Thank you Erik, Zack, Jon, Jesus et al. It was a weekend my window stopped on open. Rain was coming. So was work on Monday. Left alone with YouTube videos and rain startiing.
