Stop enabling trapping and predator hunting and really embrace conservation. You are too connected to the VT FWD and therefore not a non-partisan entity or true conservation organization.
I am delighted that Nature Conservancy encourages trail walking and observing nature on their sites. After going on two organized hikes with TNC last year, I joined up to help promote their conserving more areas in Vermont.
I don't think it's good business practice to not be transparent with the public about the fact that you allow hunting (and trapping!) on your lands. I would stand to guess that the majority of your supporters are unaware of this.
