I rang and asked for a quote so I could be prepared, to microchip and vaccinate 9 puppies. Was told $1153.06. I thought this is very reasonable and similar to other vets, so went ahead and booked. On the day, only 6 puppies got vaccinated and total for the day was $1869.39. You would think If you asked for a quote you would get the TOTAL COST of outlay. I would not take my dog anywhere else. Sure it is a bit more expensive but you get so much more than a regular GP Vet. We have a much longer consultation with a Vet who cares about my dog and also about how I am feeling. They respect my ethics around cooperative care and do their best to honour my wishes. I am a professional in the Canine Behaviour field and have been trying to tell Vets for years that there is a problem with my dog structurally. The kindest, most caring and knowledgeable people work here. They listen to their clients both the furry ones and their parents. They offer, wonderful alternatives in treatment as well as traditional ones and follow-up is impressive.
They are the best vets and nurses in Australia! They really care and use holistic approaches, so I know my furbabies aren't being poisoned but cared for. They are 40 minutes away from me, but it is worth the drive. They are worth every cent, and you get what you pay for.
The Natural vets charged an extreme mark-up on the chinese herbal pills prescribed for my cat. It does not sit well with me as a reflection of the heart of this business. I bought online the same brand of herbal pills 300 for under $30. The natural vets charged me over $30 for 30 of them!! (from memory it was like $45) Essentially they were charging me $1.50 per pill for a pill I could buy for 10c!!
