My husband and I prayed so hard to be able to find a midwife that we felt safe and comfortable with through our pregnancy journey. Sandra was definitely the answer to those prayers. Sandra is an incredible midwife. Her bedside manner is wonderful— she takes the time to listen to your stresses and concerns. When we ran into some respiratory issues with our son after birth, she stayed and monitored him until she felt comfortable with how he was doing. Megan’s first birth was mine (student midwife with prior doula experience), and all I have to say are good things about her. She said exactly what I needed to hear while I was in labor. Sandra is absolutely amazing! She is so knowledgeable, kind and cares about you. She well equipped me for my whole pregnancy, took time to talk through all my questions, and made me feel confident in my own abilities from the beginning. I'm back for a third time to give birth with Sandra and the student midwives. I had such a wonderful experience with her and they made my 2 previous births so calm and as comfortable as a birth can get. I was at home, in a birthing pool, they helped keep me hydrated, gave me snacks..etc. Highly recommend if you are going the home birth route.
