I've been to the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador Misamis Oriental, my expirience is very very solemn and peaceful as in God is talking to you and giving you comfort. To God be the highest glory.
I spent a week here at the Marian Fathers and Brothers Eden Hill camp when I was 12 in 1969. It was a beautiful and holy place 45 years ago. It is an amazingly beautiful and holy place today! Spend at least an entire day and more if possible. I thank God for allowing me to know and spend time here.

This Shrine is the home of Divine Mercy here in the USA...it is a treasury of mini-Chapels offering opportunities for Confession, the Eucharist; for silent prayer & meditation and a treasury of publications and holy articles are available for study, contemplation and learning.
