Founded in 1959, the present facility of the Basketball Hall of Fame was opened in 2002 in a gorgeously modern building shaped like a basketball. Took our son, a huge bball fan and player up from Cleveland for spring break. Loved it, well layed out with awesome memorabilia. As huge Cavaliers fans we could do without all the Celtics stuff but we are near Boston, lol.
