If you want to sleep before 11pm I wouldn't recommend staying here. The noise from the ex servicemens club is excessive to the point that you can't even hear the TV. They also gave our key to another person, so they walked into our room. Luckily we had our clothes on. We didn't trust that it wouldn't happen again so we had to order food to be delivered instead of eating out. The room was ok for the cost.
DONT book this on @hotelreservations. They take your credit card deets and add $60 to the total.
Excellent value, 20 minute drive from Byron Bay. The beds are comfy and clean, the towels are plush, the shower was hot with good water pressure. There was an AC. EV charger 5 minute walk away and places to eat. High room by the road got a little road noise, but soft bird song was more common. Beds not motion isolating, but comfy with extra blankets for the cold. Good stay, wallet friendly too.
Noisy as hell, we had to clean blood smeared hand prints off the back of the door and door handle. It's was like something out of a horror movie. It was last minute accommodation for us due to another venue booking issue. Cheap as cheap gets though, $155 for a night.
I had to walk around the block to pick up key from the pub. Rooms were moldy on the ceiling and shower screen had a crack in it.
