This used to be a staple.. now it has gone down hill. All new employees that dont care. We waited 20 mins to be sat and then 30 mins after ordering our server forgot to put our order in... we walked out. Absolutely ridiculous Not to mention, I left them with the name Jimmy and they kept saying Jeremy..multiple times....can the front desk even speak properly?!
Very nice restaurant. Food was always perfect! Could have a little more lighting. I liked that you could see the kitchen staff.
The Mug has always been low-key, but that was always part of the charm. Now it's become a bit of a liability. From the person at the "welcome" stand who barely puts forth an effort to make themselves understood to the wait staff who angrily chases people back when they try to seat themselves (which they have been used to doing for years), the charm of the cozy little breakfast place is very much offset by the lack of welcome from the people working the establishment.
