T.P. & Jordan, from The Movers, arrived promptly and were careful with my household belongings. Even with rain throughout the day, they were strong & steady in their work, protected everything from getting wet, and upbeat and friendly in their demeanor. Everything was placed accurately and gently. I am very grateful they pointed out previous damage to the top portion of a drop leaf desk, which made it unsafe to reassemble (because it is wobbly) before needed repairs are made. Bottom Line: I would NOT recommend The Movers, to anyone for any type of move. This is based on management/owners and the packing abilities of their employees. This review is delayed due to waiting until we received and unpacked our items after a move out of the continental US. I initially contacted Matt about the pack up of our house and loading of two PODS containers. My original movers turned out to be a scam and I had to move in 3 days plus have storage ! Matt and his team were helpful, careful with my things and made things work on short notice! Would recommend to anyone in the quad cities. Communication and customer service are second to none!
I would highly recommend as I have moved many times and would not use anybody else because The Movers make you feel like family. They arrived on time, they were quick but safe and I was very impressed with their crew. All of my furniture arrived just as it was before moving and they took the time to place my furniture exactly where I wanted it to go without a hassle I will be calling them in the future!
I went with this company because they gave a great quote over the phone! They took some information down and I told them all of our big items plus 40-50 boxes. I asked if there were 10-20 more if the price difference would change much and they said no. My initial quote was $500-$700. Sounded great. Move day comes, the two guys were WONDERFUL!!!
