Location - the whole hotel aesthetic and service was second to none. I will not stay anywhere else when I am in Melbourne from now on. Highly recommend and referred friends and even strangers to this hotel haha enjoyed my stay that much look forward to returning.
Apart from the location and the amazing spread of breakfast, everything else leaves much to be desired. Poor service - I've specifically booked twin room but when I arrive, they say they had some miscommunication and they only had King room available. And they could only swap the next day. Everyday I had to re-check in because I've booked all nights separately. That's OK. The Motley Hotel has recently joined the Hilton family. It is conveniently located on Bridge Road, Richmond with the 48 and 75 stopping right outside. The rooms are compact and comfortable. My last two stays I’ve had issues with the TV reception. There’s bar downstairs and breakfast is available in the morning.
