The doctors here are all very nice - if you can get past the gestapo on reception to actually see one! When I went in to ask for an appointment I was told very abruptly “there are no appointments” even though I was in pain. If you can actually persuade them that you need to see a doctor, you might get an appointment in a couple of weeks. If you ring at 8.30 (which they ask you to do) you are umpteenth in the queue and when you finally get through all the appointments are gone and you are told to try again next day. I am fortunate enough not to have to visit the Mote Medical Practice too often and the last time I did, the procedure was to wait outside until they opened at 08.30 to be able to get an appointment on the day. I had the need to visit their today in order to get an appointment for some infected bites, waited outside with others, noted the sign on the door saying that from September the procedure changes, and you have to telephone for an appointment.
