Love Illumination in the Winter... and they put on some awesome wine tastings in the summer!

The Morton Arboretum at Christmas is a rich way to spend time with family or friends. I found myself surrounded by the quiet beauty of the season. The caregivers of this property have outdone themselves by the use of light , color & special effects bringing the habitat to life . If you have the chance I believe this event will not disappoint!
Everything is great at the Arboretum; the staff, facilities, grounds, light show, etc.
Illumination 2018 seemed much shorter this year. Also specifically chose Dec. 2 for the pyro-technic dancers, but after asking many volunteers, they were not sure. Then asked another who said group was not coming this evening! Bummed.
Beautiful grounds, all year long. The library is charming. The special exhibits -- Trolls and Illumination, in particular -- are magical and joy-inspiring.
Awesome experience for all members if the family. This year’s light show best ever !
