Beautiful place apart from the crazy lady in the gift shop who gave me the two minute warning of closing twice within 20 seconds. Won’t stop back in there.
The Light Illumination show was amazing.

As a family experience, we have not had a bad time at the Morton Arboretum in any season, in any weather. Winter is extra special with the Illumination show. Really brings us together in the holiday season.
The Morton Arboretum was beautiful, serene, and a wonderful place to view (especially as a tourist). We were lucky that the snow wasn’t falling heavily but enough to make it feel like an enchanted walk through a forest. My only suggestion to The Morton Arboretum is to add more string lights to the trees.
