The Trolls are still there, although we concentrated on other sights this trip because of our young granddaughter. The Children’s area was fun and made for some great explorations. We took the Acorn Express and had a small hike to see butterflies and prairie grasses and flowers. Good food selection at the Restaurant. Great day for grownups and child!

The vistas and the great trails are fantastic! The troll hunt was a nice way to engage with the natural beauty that was fun and clever.

Fantastic place! Wish there were more water fountains/restrooms but I understand that it’s nature and you don’t want to take more of that away.

What’s not to love? Miles of beautiful trees and green in the middle of sprawling suburbia. My father has Parkinson’s disease and is confined to a wheelchair. I try to get him to the arboretum weekly. On a good day, we can walk the many handicapped-accessible paths and watch the kids play in the Children’s Garden. On a rough day, we can stay in the car and drive with the windows down. It always raises his spirits, and I’m thankful to the Morton Arboretum, its staff, and it’s volunteers for that.
