I just became a member and instead of walking through my neighborhood I could come here where it's peaceful and enjoy walking and meeting new people. I'm looking forward to the wine nights.

The Arboretum has been a favorite of mine for 45 years! Every season has something to offer. You can take a rest from the hustle/ bustle of urban living by wandering the grounds! The beauty and serenity is always there. The employees have always maintained the grounds in such wonderful fashion. What a great team! They should be highly praised for their efforts!!!

This is my favorite place in the Chicago area. The Arboretum is a beautiful retreat into nature, no matter what time of year you go.

Such a peaceful spot. I love the trails. Be sure to visit both sides, east and west. Take a slow drive, but get out and walk. Lake Marmo is so pretty, and the Big Rock walk is cool too. Visit the Spruce Plot and enjoy the fresh air.

I finally visited the Arboretum for the first time on March 19th. I fell in love! I got a membership and have gone back two more times already! I cannot wait to see the seasons unfold!

Back in the 60s In worked 4 summers at the arb. I have worked and done many things since but not as wonderful as working there. The people that I worked with instilled dedication in me. I was blessed to have worked there when Tony T. was our leader. What A wonderful place to get up in the morning and out to work. Beautiful people and beautiful surroundings.

I love going here for walking, helps me to unwind. I love going to some events here. Loved the 5k. It does get crowded at certain times of the day but it just a given especially during special event. I wish there where more theme events at affordable prices. I also went to the theatre hike as well.
