My mom was in the short term ICU for water retention and heart failure. Staff were nice but you have to fight tooth and nail to make sure you get your medications administered on time. They never told my mom what meds they were giving her or explain any procedure. I would ask lots of questions regarding my mom's health status with my mom beside me and it was like pulling teeth to get any information.
