As a long time resident of Southern Towers , I thought it necessary to update my review of the Monticello apartment at Southern Towers (as of Sept 2025). First, I am very thankful for Ms. Theresa, the building manager. She is someone who truly cares about residents and their needs. She is why I continue to renew my lease and why I want to leave a 5-star review. If I could leave this apartment complex a zero star I would. It was the worst place I have lived in the DMV. I had roaches crawling everywhere and mice. I killed 13 mice in one week. They have pest control come once a week and all they did was put the poison blocks and left. Management only cares about money. They would use my deposit for other things and then tell me I had to pay it again because I used it. And every time I tried to explain what happened they didn’t listen.
