I have been a client of the Modern House/Inigo several times in the last few years. Unfortunately it seems the company is declining under new management now the founders are no longer running it. They do not seem to care much unless you are selling a very expensive property. My experience with The Modern House / Inigo has honestly been one of the most difficult and stressful I’ve had. Their photos and branding are beautiful, but as a buyer, I really felt there was a lack of care and support throughout the process. It left me feeling pretty disheartened. If you’re thinking of working with them, I’d suggest asking around and doing some research beforehand.
Excellent people. Super space. Beers in a fridge. Couldn't ask for more from a client.
Overvalues properties and creates an environment where buyers are at risk of being gazumped. The agents here are neither particularly helpful nor friendly, making the process unnecessarily difficult. Overall, not a great experience.
As executor for my fathers estate, I worried that selling the mid century modern masterpiece that my father designed and built in the 60's was going to be tough. How on earth would I find buyers for it? Because it wasn't in trendy Hackney Wick, it was in a normal, quiet working class town in West Yorkshire. I got three local agents over to appraise.
