I had a Celebration of Life at the Modern. Abel and Mary made that event pretty much seamless. There was a mix up in communication on the start time of the event, which did cause some consternation, BUT both Abel and Mary rose to the occasion and, in the end, the event was perfect. A stunning setting AND the food was wonderful. I am originally from the Chesapeake Bay area, so my standards for Crab Cakes is pretty high. Our wedding was a perfectly executed dream come true that was orchestrated by The Modern, and its wonderful team led by Abel and Mary.
