The Moat House Annan was the perfect holiday getaway: Great location for example, Walking distance to amenities pubs, restaurants and shops etc., including cinema and soft play for the young ones. Lovely walks for the dog(s) accessible from the rear of the garden. The holiday home was spacious on two levels with elevator/lift. Very large kitchen/diner, bedrooms and bathrooms. We stayed here with 6 adults and 6 children. One child is in a wheelchair and needs hoisting. Every single one of us had a great time and we would highly recommend the house. Accessible, luxurious accommodation in beautiful areas with loads to do are very hard to find
We stayed at The Moat House for a week from 30th July. 5 of us included my disabled sister and elderly mother. My sister needs a lot of adapted facilities to be able to have a holiday. We have always spent hours trying tp find somewhere suitable and inevitably when we get to a holiday home something is missing or the space isn't enough to move about in a wheelchair or we have to start moving furniture. The Moat House really does have it all. It’s in the perfect location, being both quiet and near plenty of amenities. It also includes everything you could possibly need to assist you if you have a disability, while still having a homely feeling and not too “clinical”. The owners are extremely helpful and welcoming too. This has to be the best accommodation we have stayed in that caters for people with disabilities, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into planning the cottage out.
