I purchased my Grandson's 4th year Tee Rex Birthday cake from here! It was magnificent! Perfection in every way! From the amazing texture and taste of the 3 layer cake, to the unbelievable Tee Rex designed on the cake! The young lady that made this cake is over the top talented. Got some cupcakes from them and when I went to eat them, they were hard as a rock
My husband emailed them on last Tuesday for a turn around day of this past Saturday!!! And they got it done but not just a rushed job! It was polished, elegant, and beautiful! Everything I wanted to represent! Thanks @ The Mixing Bowl Bakery for a wonder and tasty experience!!! We will return in August with more notice!!! :-)
Disappointing experience. Ordered a German Black Forest cake but received a plain, somewhat dry chocolate cake. If the staff are going to sell a specific type of cake they should be trained to make it or refuse the order. Tried to talk to the owner, Billy about the issue but was only allowed to communicate through his "gatekeeper" Brianna. Unfortunately, customer service is not Brianna's strong point.
