Absolutely awful. And the RN’s at the front are so incredibly rude. Go somewhere else. Not to mention the waiting room is a nightmare- no AC. Sick people hovering over a fan unit.
The worst experience ever in my life!!! Never have I experienced an emergency room this bad. Checked in at 11pm and it is almost 7am and still haven’t been seen. Nobody has been called in hours. Nobody gives us updates or nothing. A guy next to me ask for a blanket and never got one. This is the worst emergency EVER!!! Seems like you have to come in an ambulance to be seen. Never have I ever experienced something this bad in my entire life.
Apparently if you are experiencing breathing problems and check yourself in but it is also busy enough in the waiting room, you’ll be subsequently forgotten by staff. Waiting 2hrs while having experienced an asthma attack and my rescue inhaler not working felt as if I had the odds stacked against me which is the last feeling you should get while seeking help from an emergency room.

My personal nurse was wonderful, a kind, courteous - humane - gentleman. The so-called 'professional' staff, including MDs, NPs, intake person, ranged from indifferent to apathetic to contemptuous and hostile. Quite a sad, pathetic impersonation of health "care." In my case, I strongly suspect, given how rudely and dismissively my very serious medical conditions were treated - or rather, NOT treated -- I believe my critical reviews of one GI doctor in particular, of Brown Medical School, prejudiced all these Brown University... read more
