The ED care itself is 5 stars! I will go in detail below. The check-in process needs major re-evaluation. We brought our elderly grandmother to the ED after a pretty significant fall outside on concrete. 5 minutes go by, not a single person in line besides us, and my grandmother is still standing bloody icepack to face while shaking. Has to wait over an hour (an hour and 15 minutes to be exact) even tho the person I took was in pain. When I asked about it, all the staff were extremely rude. Disgusting people.
6 hour wait time in a hot room. People are slowed to get called.
Arrived at this ER early in the morning and the experience was extremely disappointing. The entrance was very dim and some of the lights didn’t seem to be working, which didn’t inspire much confidence. The overall atmosphere felt disorganized and chaotic. I am at the hospital Emergency Room. The whole process was smooth, and was Triaged very quickly which was a very good surprise to me. I have My Charts account setup, and all the progress- from my waiting to assigning of room to test results, everything was getting updated realtime in app and an email. It was very transparent to know where I am standing on my progress. I hope no one has to use emergency services, if you need help I would recommend coming here. The staff is friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable.
