Shockwave therapy and deep tissue manipulation can often be painful and yes, occasionally produce bruising. I would respectfully suggest that the reviewer below read further into the side effects of physiotherapy and/or sports massage - it isn't meant to be relaxing and the pain often does get worse before it gets better. I am glad other people have had a positive experience as shown in the reviews but I have to be honest about mine. I came to see Raj for physiotherapy as I have had chronic tendonitis in my ankle for 7 months. He advised that I have shockwave therapy. I had never heard of this before but trusted at the time he would be giving the right advice. I later read online that shockwave therapy is used as a last resort after physio hasn’t worked so I’m not sure why we did that straight away. It was very painful and I was told to take ... read more
Raj is a fantastic phyiotherapy practitioner. He was able to identify the root cause of my problem quickly and adapted his treatment plan to get the best results. I cannot recommend him highly enough The clinic itself had immediate availability and I was seen, treated and pain free before I would even have been able to see an NHS physio. Thank you Raj and the mind and body clinic
