We had a wonderful stay at the lake for 5 days. Kayaked, visited a few of the local restaurants, but our favorite was the Tumbledown. It was a short 10 minute drive and the food and service was excellent. Their menu states it is all non-gmo and farm-to-table, so it’s no wonder it was tasty. Ron & Liz’s lake house was spotless and comfortable and they were fantastic hosts. They made recommendations on when to see the Aurora and on things to do in the area. I wanted to take my wife away for her birthday weekend and I came across "The Milton Lake House" It was as expected , the views were beautiful the rooms were comfortable and the fire place was awesome . Ron and Liz were great hosts , they met us at the house and went over everything we needed to know , they even had a birthday cake and a bottle of wine waiting for the birthday girl . The only complaint I have is that we didn't stay longer :)
The lake house is a great place to get away in style. The home is modern with contemporary decor. Floor to ceiling windows gives a stunning view of the lake. Each bedroom has a private balcony and the master has a gorgeous walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub. The living room with the huge fireplace makes for a wonderfully relaxing place!
