Very good hotel in a very convenient location.
BEWARE: Went here for an anniversary, booked an ocean view room with a kitchen, upon arrival was given a room with no kitchen facing another building. We were then shown the room we booked, and then when trying to change keys were told we couldn’t have it. Really horrible experience, would not recommend coming here. They advised they put the wrong photos on their own booking website….
Our family of four stayed four nights at Rydges North Sydney. I really wanted to give it more stars, because it had several things going for it: the convenient location, the spacious room, and the decent amenities in the room and daily housekeeping. However, the service we received from the reception and their laundry facilities left room for improvement. 1) We admittedly got there earlier than the stated check-in time. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The front desk service was terrible, staff lacked coordination, and they failed to help customers who needed assistance. Instead, they mocked and laughed at customers among themselves. The hotel was ugly and dirty. Not recommended.
