What a lovely little gem! We had such a wonderful experience at The Midyeci today. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a beautifully decorated, cosy and charming atmosphere, with quirky little touches that give the place so much character. A really lovely dining experience in Dalston, from start to finish and highly recommend for date night . The restaurant itself is something special. The interior has the feel of one of Turkey’s ancient underground cave cities, with textured, stone-like walls and an atmospheric, almost subterranean feel ; but beautifully lit, immaculate and with a surprisingly modern, almost futuristic finish. Absolutely loved this place! The seafood was incredible — everything tasted so fresh and delicious. We had the oysters, mussels, and another dish that I can’t remember the name of, but it was honestly amazing too! The oysters in particular were fantastic, and I could have easily ordered another round. Everything we tried was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. Such a great experience overall. If you’re a seafood lover, definitely don’t miss this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat!
