The apartment itself is fine, but the setup makes daily life frustrating. My designated parking spot is on the complete opposite side of the building from my unit - it takes nearly 10 minutes just to walk from my car to my door. For what rent costs here, that’s ridiculous and incredibly inconvenient. On top of that, the random fire drills in the morning are unbearable. Fire alarm goes off ALL THE TIME. The WiFi SUCKS. They don’t have enough parking spots for everyone. THE TRASH CHUTE ROOM HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR MONTHS. Do not live here. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Sadly, this property management company is only out for themselves. Between charging $60 a month for in garage parking, constantly raising their rates and forcing the tenants to play hunger games in order to get the lowest possible rate, and then removing the electric/water allowance, they pride themselves on being an off-campus housing Community yet they screw over the students every chance they can get. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Would be a beautiful complex except the management isn’t on top of it and it’s gross after only a short time. Homeless people and intruders get in and packages get stolen because their mail system is horrible. Parking is 60.00 a month—more than anywhere else. And to renew, they made the residents play the Hunger Games. First to renew gets a cheaper price. If you don’t click fast enough, you have to pay more. And yes, this took place a month after move in. I’ve had a great experience living at The Metropolitan in Tampa! From the start, everything has been smooth and welcoming. The amenities here are top-notch and really add to the overall comfort and convenience of living in the community. The staff is always polite, professional, and ready to help whenever needed.
