Only had Xmas eve dinner but very enjoyable. Xmas tree, log fire, Xmas carols. Very nice food. Very pleasant hosts. Not a woke xmas
The staff are very helpful. The location very convenient to shops and station. The room was fabulous with very comfy bed and pillows. Yummy big breakfast.
Shockingly bad check in process, didn't provide self check-in instructions, so they left us stranded with all our luggage no room, and no WiFi password and so no way to contact them. We didn't even arrive that late, we got there at 3pm, they are just too stingy to pay for staff to be there at reception. They don't respond to messages either, awful! The room was also tiny, we could barely open the door without crushing the suitcase. Clearly don't know how to run a hotel. Won't be returning, and would not recommend, so please ... read more
It's a quaint, historic guest house. If you love that feel of stepping back into time, this place is for you. They have retained much of their old world charm complete with phonographs, an antique pool table, and furnishings that take you back to a bygone era. The rooms themselves surprisingly have nice beddings, but is not modern by any means. The price is ok. The location is awesome, with plenty of street parking and its own small parking lot.
