Another lovely meal! 11:00 on Monday after moving all morning and was starving/craving breakfast and we knew exactly where to go. Good service from both the man and woman (dark hair) sorry didn't get names. We sat on the patio-I like to pretend webate in NO when we go lol both of us got coffees and breakfast plates. Always good.
The shrimp and grits are amazing here
I just had the most wonderful breakfast at this restaurant! My mom and I shared two dishes—the Creole Eggs and the Sweet Potato Hash—and both were absolutely delicious. Every bite offered a fantastic blend of flavors that complemented each other perfectly. The iced coffee was smooth, bold, and exactly what I needed to start the day. We seriously love The Mess Around! It’s become one of our favorite places to eat. The food is always so fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing—you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Susie is an absolute gem! She’s so kind, welcoming, and genuinely makes every visit feel special. The service is always top-notch, and you can tell she truly cares about her customers.
