We stayed in the Vaudeville, which was wonderful. Spacious and well-appointed. Communication and responsiveness were excellent. And the Katy trailhead is right around the corner!
10/10 - this little place was exactly what we were looking for for one night during our week long bike adventure. They thought of EVERYTHING - coffee and tea options, upscale bath toiletries, firepit with firewood and fire starters, bike storage with available tools and supplies, emergency supplies for sale on the honor system, WONDERFUL mattresses and comfortable furniture, fast wi-fi and internet/TV. The list goes on and on....
Met friends for a visit and bike ride for two days, wish I could have stayed 20!! This place is very unique, very clean and the detail is excellent! This will be visited again!!
We had a great time at Hermann and being older when it was time to leave it was wonderful to go just three minutes over the river and have the peace and quiet of the Mercantile
My husband biked across Missouri on the Katy Trail, while I drove to meet him at a different location each night We loved the friendly folks at the Bothwell Hotel in Sedalia but The Mercantile was our favorite place. It's right next to the trailhead so you can't miss it. And there's a small barn right beside the building for safe bike parking.
