Walked in and was greeted by a happy Irish fella. Ordered two guinesses and they were poured perfectly. Special of the day was chicken schnitzel and that came out quickly and was crisp and golden. All up a very good experience.

Definitely get what you pay for. Overall the rooms are old but seemed cleaned at least the beds. Main issue was we were told they could hold our luggage but we couldn't find a way in. When a worker came out they let us inside and told us to go up the stairs which we initially couldn't find as another worker was on the phone ignoring us. When we found them no one was upstairs and we ended up having to find a different storage option. The guy who ended up checking us in was nice at least.

Good location unfortunately spoiled by old rooms. Stairs were creaky and there's a lot of them. Bed was hard. Room smells of mildew or urine. I couldn't tell. No daily housekeeping. Air con was a portable unit taped to the window, although the hose had a hole in it so outside air (winter cold air) could come in. Paint in all the rooms/hallway were peeling off. No shampoo provided. No fridge, water or milk. Had a chain on the door except there was nothing to lock it onto. Didn't feel very secure with just a loose deadbolt. Ni... read more
