I love the Mercantile. Visited today just because I had not been in a couple weeks. Constantly changing the merchandise and set up. I had a mocha latte' at the Jackass Cafe and wandered the store. Didn't buy anything else but had a refreshing break. The store adds so much to the downtown in Rockin' Hill.
I recently visited The Mercantile when I was in town visiting a friend on his recommendation (from my experience he has decided to quit going and he told me it wasn’t a surprise and the place has been going down hill fast with his recent interactions and conversations.) I love the art work of Shepard Fairy and it’s unfortunate he decided to put it in this particular business. I had an amazing time making my very first soup. Staff was very helpful and it’s really a cool place.
