Cozy little airb&b river isn't too far away.
Shhh It's QUIET in the forest and the home called Mended Wood. Cricket chirping slows as evening comes, autumn leaves swirl crisp to the ground. Nice renovations. A canopy of stars and 2 firepits. I liked the under one roof but separate large indoor play space for a rainy day. Kids burned energy while adults conversed. Lovely updated cottage with outdoor seating, game room with loft. Great kitchen and updated single bathroom. Hosts did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome.
Our family of four stayed with another family for a weekend but we could have stayed longer! The location is pristine and the kids loved stomping around in the forest buiding forts and having adventures. The hosts Amy and Steven are amazing and were extremely responsive to our questions! We loved watching March Madness next to the fire pit, sitting under the heater on the deck in the morning sipping coffee while looking out over the woods, and cooking our meals in the well-equipped and well-stocked spacious kitchen.
