We started off the night by splitting off a bottle of Conundrum wine which was a sweeter pinot grigio! We decided to do their four course option for our meal ($35-47)! We started the night with a fiesta cheese fondue appetizer! I could not stop eating this with the tortilla chips and bread that came with it! The main course was unique in that we picked our “entree” but then the waiter brought out a bowl of broth and we cooked our entrees ourself. The meats and broth were loaded with flavor so I loved that! We were almost too... read more
My husband and I just dined at the Melting Pot for the first time ever, and I must say it was the best restaurant experience I've ever had. The low lit atmosphere was romantic, and the food was amazing! I love the fact that my husband and I cooked the prepared food together. We had great conversation and it was worth every penny. And oh my goodness, the chocolate fondue was incredible. My favorite thing to dip was definitely the bananas, marshmallows, and the blondie brownie. I cannot wait until the next time we can go back.
I recently took my girlfriend here. She was totally in awe. Our server Makenzie was excellent and super friendly. It is definitely an establishment to experience. Be sure to take in the entire session from appetizer to the chocolate fondue for dessert.
Wow! One of the best places to eat. Served in courses. Cheese with bread and veggies to dip in it then you can choice your dinner and cook it yourself in oil or broth. Then you ca get several kinds of dessert dips to go with fruit! Not a place to go in a hurry though. Can take 2 hours to eat dinner. It is slow eating but very worth it.
Intimate setting was perfect for a date night with my wife. We had a four-course dinner and enjoyed it all. The swiss cheese was a favorite for both of us. The teriyaki sirloin was great! If going on the weekend I would definitely make reservations in advance.
We went here for cheese and dessert, and had a great time as usual. Our waitress, Kelly, was superb. She was friendly, patient, and attentive, and didn't get exasperated with our create-your-own chocolate fondue. (We had milk chocolate with Kahlua, Bailey's, and DiSaronno, which was very tasty, but rather thin because of all the liquid). Our drinks were also excellent (we had the Nuts and Berries and the Cafe International, which Daniel had modified to exclude the Grand Mariner - again, without complaint from Kelly.) It was ... read more
If you like fondue, this is a great place for lunch or dinner but also a fun place for celebrations. We celebrated my daughters 18th birthday here with her friends. It was a great communal dinner and the girls especially enjoyed the desert fondues.
Fan favorite when it comes to fondue, but also a good option for dinner before seeing a show at the Fox. It's within walking distance, but dinner here takes time, so plan accordingly. The food never disappoints and the whole experience is fun! More info here: http://bellyofthefeast.blogspot.com/2011/01/the-melting-pot.html
This place was quite a treat; I brought my wife for a romantic dinner here, and the place did not disappoint. The evening involved a 3-4 course meal, which allowed us to experience cheese fondue, a broth - based meal, and a chocolate fondue. Plenty of options for vegetarians. It would have been nice to have a more intimate experience in more private booths, but it is understandable given the limited space and potential fire hazard that comes with more enclosed seating. Highly recommended.
