DO NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE! – I do not recommend the Melting Pot in Scranton to ANYONE! The service was horrible and wait staff and management are extremely rude! At the party I had there, myself and a family member were screamed at for starting to put confetti on the table. The waitress yelled "its in your contract!" which it wasn't and was also not mentioned at the meeting i had with the owner. Horrible Customer Service (Johnathan is the worste server!) – Please do not expect to get good service from Johnathan if he is your server at this restaurant. He will tell you that you do not want what you ask for and go out of his way to make sure you know he is in control and you, the customer, have no ability to ask for what you want. AVOID! Worst service in Denver metro area – We had a reservation but still waited for 2 hours from food to arrive after being seated. The waiter was at first apologetic and explained that they seated his entire section at once even though the dining room wasn't even half full. Horrible Experience – I have been to The Melting Pot on a dozen or so occasions and this was my fourth trip to the Louisville location. Normally a great place to eat, I consider it a special experience as I rarely can afford to drop $120 on a meal for two. Tonight I had my worst dining experience ever at The Melting Pot in Louisville. The 70's called and want their fondue pot back! – This is a great concept for an evening get-together, but usually you have something else to do. Dinner's around $35 per person, the food's not seasoned, and plan to kill around three hours.
Great food – The waitresses were very friendly. They made sure that we understood how to order since it was our first time there. The food was outstanding, especially their spinach or artichoke dip for appetizer. The chocolate fondue is to die for. I would definitely go back again.

Not what i was expecting – for the price I was expecting a little more. I was not at all crazy about the raw chicken being brought to my table.. And having to eat boiled soup one bite at a time.
Great Time, Every Time! – After reading some of the reviews on this place I can tell its definitely not for everyone, but I have been here multiple times and have ALWAYS received GREAT service and food. A little pricey, but you have to remember you are paying for the experience, don't forget to bring some extra $$ for your server, because they work their butts off!! I would recommend this restaurant for couples because of its romantic atmosphere.
