This Hmong-owned restaurant/banquet hall, The Mekong, might be out of the way compared to all the other Hmong-owned stores/businesses/restaurants in the area, but it certainly doesn’t lose out to those establishments! We ordered the egg roll, Hmong sausage (with sticky rice), angel wing, beef larb (with sticky rice), papaya salad (with sticky rice), and nam vanh. Kapiek was a 10/10. I haven’t tried the other food so I can’t vouch for those dishes. But I’ll come back to try more food here! Yum!
We had some less-than-superb experiences when they first opened, but I'm eating luncch here now and it's fantastic. I'm the only customer here, but the service was speedy and the food is magnificent. So happy McFarland finally has a quality thai restaurant. We'll be coming back a lot.
Had never heard of this place prior, and decided to try it out. Everything was so delicious!
