Been searching for a good mechanic for my older Jaguar, not every place will work on them. Found Mechanics Tire & Auto in Locust, they did amazing. I will definitely come back. Easy to work with, honest and affordable. They fixed my problematic AC, new brakes, turned the rotors, restored the headlamps like new!
I recently had my vehicle repaired by The Mechanics. I was having A/C issues as it had gone out and a local Chevy dealership told me I had a leak and needed my front and rear evaporator core replaced. It was going to cost $$$$. Took my car to The Mechanics and they confirmed no leak with a dye test and all I needed was an Evac and Recharge of the system. This is the only place that I will take my vehicles! I do all of my own work, but when I need anything from alignments to inspections, this is the place to go. Heidi is so very friendly and makes me feel very welcome. I have brought my drift cars here for alignments, as well as my trucks and other vehicles. They're so thorough on their work and inspections to show you what issues you have. No upselling, just showing you hard proof of whatever your vehicle may need. I highly recommend The Mechanics Locust to everyone!
My son took his car to be fix. Than my other son decided to do the same and than after my two sons had a great experience with them I decided to take mine too. Love the way they show you the area that need to be fixed and also explain which one need an emergency fix than the other one can wait a little until you can get your money together to fix the other. Little expensive but worth the money you spend . Great customer service very polite I strongly recommend it
They are absolutely excellent! I needed an oil change and my tires rotated. I didn’t have an appointment but they got me in immediately. Customer service is phenomenal, they are very quick and reasonable as far as pricing. I will use them again and highly suggest them for your auto needs!
