RecommendedWe were on 81 when we developed car trouble. The Mechanic fit us in early in the morning, diagnosed the problem and quickly got us parts for repair. We were back on the road the next day. Car broke down on Rt 81 on the way to North Carolina. Late in the day so not a lot could be done. Steve drove us to hotel and next day got a rental. Stopped by to check in on the way to continue our trip and unfortunately engine severely damaged. In a week these guys got me a new used engine and installed it. They were upfront, honest and eager to assist. The final bill was pretty much just what they said it would be before they started the job. They are open 7 days a week and the locals love them. These gentlemen were my saving grace today when I was traveling out of town and broke down. I cannot say enough about how quickly they diagnosed the problem, had it fixed and had me back in the road. Open 7 days a week I know is tough but today I’m very thankful that they were there when most others are closed! Thank you gentlemen!
After my son's car broke down we took it to Steve at The Mechanic. he did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem. fixed it quickly and get my son back on the road. Nice honest guy with fair prices. Steve's your guy for car repairs in Christianburg

Very good customer service. We’ve been there several times with two different cars and have been very satisfied. Honest, they don’t try to fix something that’s not broken. Will continue to take our vehicles there.
Brian and the rest of the staff were great. Had my car in and out on a Saturday for way cheaper than expected. I will be back the next time I need work done.
They did unauthorized diagnostic on my car. Was supposed to check with me before they did anything. They put a serpentine belt on that I purchased from auto zone. They didn't notice that it was defective,yeah sure. So they got another one, charged me for putting it on. You'd think they'd have noticed it was bad.
