New to town. Called in to get ribs for 8 ppl they don’t have enough to make even one plate. Ended up getting pound of pulled pork, baked beans, and potato salad. This was the most foul food I have ever smelled or tasted. The pork was chopped so fine it was almost powdery. The texture and flavor was like eating beef jerky shredded out of a can. Fantastic bbq spot. The menu is limited but the quality is incredible. The bbq sauce is on point! Will definitely return
Oh no, what happened? The Mean Pig was a place to get awesome BBQ. Today, our office went here for lunch and the food was just awful. Actually had a bad taste in the beef. Others within the party agreed. Almost seems like new owners and new cooks. I remembered when Mean Pig donated food for the 463d Airlift Group during deployment iron swap outs. Would bring the BBQ to those deployed for the 777 EAS... it was delicious. I would avoid this place.
It was the worst BBQ I have ever had we got a small meat plate and a large meat plate and the chopped beef was so dry and the chopped pork was like mush the brisket was a lot of fat and there was no flavorto any of it. The sides weren't much better.
We have been 3xs and they never have beef anything.
