Pest control is an issue — expect issues with ants and silverfish. The apartment complex will try to nickel and dime you, as well as tow people for stupid reasons. The construction is also shoddy: for example, some of the parking garages that provide shade that people paid to use collapsed on top of the vehicles parked underneath them.
