MDH Hospice is a caring organization staffed by competent & caring nurses and aides. They came to our home each day and cared for our loved one with great kindness. Also, the concern they showed our family was greatly appreciated as we were struggling with our impending loss and needed support. Our journey would have been made more difficult without MDH Hospice, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

I gave one star because zero wasn't an option. My Dad passed away October 16 under the "care" of mdh Hospice and I use the word care very loosely. I'm a retired bedside RN of 21 years and have never witnessed a more rudimentary, traumatic, or unassisted death. My mother brings it up frequently, a brother is having nightmares, and I still see my Dad's gray, oxygen- starved face, fluid copiously flowing from his mouth, flailing arms of choking panic while Dr. Roodhouse refused an oral suction order.
