Hooray I chose the McAuley to be my new home because I’m an active Senior and they meet my criteria to take classes at St Joseph’s University and being near Elizabeth Park was a big plus. During my visit I was delighted by the friendliness of staff and residence.
My Mom (88 years old) and I (63 years old) are current residents of The McAuley in West Hartford CT. With The McAuley staff, I was able to move my Mom from PA to CT, and to be supportive of her, in this wonderful residential environment. Mom has enjoyed the community, interacting with recreation, fitness, dining, spiritual, and social activities, and I am glad to have The McAuley residents and staff as part of the support network and community for her and for us. My Mother moved into The McAuley several months ago. There is the most beautiful culture of kindness and caring from both the exceptional staff and friendly residents. She loves the many activities she can participate in each day. They also have a wonderful library with so many interesting books to read.
